Frndly TV says it will offer Weigel Broadcasting’s new retro cartoon channel MeTV Toons when the network launches later this month.
The service will carry the channel shortly after it launches in mid-June, but isn’t ready to announce distribution plans just yet.
“Tom & Jerry,” “The Smurfs,” “Wacky Races” and “Freakazoid!” are some of the animated series coming to the new network this summer.
The channel, which will feature classic animated series, will debut on free, ad-supported streaming platforms and broadcast TV in mid-June.
