NBC pulls in nearly 21 million with Closing Ceremony of Olympic Games
Nearly 21 million people tuned in to some or all of the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, according to data released by NBC Sports.

NBC Universal drew an average daily audience of 30.6 million viewers during the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
The amount of total minutes streamed was 40 percent higher than all previous Summer and Winter Olympic Games available on Peacock.
More people watched Team USA score gold than the highest-rated NBA Finals game this season.
Around 4.5 million viewers streamed Sunday events on Peacock, Comcast said in a statement.
The network and Peacock posted a total audience delivery of 31.7 million viewers.
More people are watching the Summer Olympic Games in West Palm Beach than any other market, according to Nielsen data.
The network’s five-day Olympics ratings have increased 79 percent when compared to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
NBC said more than 4.5 million people tuned in to watch some or all of the Olympics via Peacock and other digital platforms on Monday.
More than $500 million has been generated from new sponsors who have committed advertising spend against the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
