A global streaming service that includes access to the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network will launch in three more countries on Friday, Fox Corporation executives announced.
Fox News International will expand to viewers in Chile, Portugal and Panama on December 17, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Fox News International debuted in August with a $7 a month price tag. It rolled out first to viewers in Mexico and has since expanded to more than two dozen other countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Costa Rica, Ireland and the Czech Republic.
The streaming service brings live feeds of Fox News and Fox Business to international viewers in countries where both channels are typically not available on traditional cable or satellite services. Fox News has been offered overseas on a limited basis, mostly on satellite platforms in Europe, Asia and North Africa.
In addition to the linear streams of Fox News and Fox Buisiness, the streaming service offers on-demand access to 20 news and opinion programs from the two channels.
