Emily Chang steps down as host of Bloomberg Technology

After more than a decade, Emily Chang is ready to move on.

Last week, the San Francisco journalist stepped away from “Bloomberg Technology” after hosting the show for 12 years.

Chang, who is based in San Francisco, will continue working for Bloomberg in a number of other roles while she develops a new original video program focused on the intersection of technology, business and culture.

Her other program at the financial news channel, “Bloomberg Studio 1.0,” will be relaunched as a weekly program where she will continue to interview executives and influencers, albeit in a slightly updated format.

Chang started her career at Bloomberg more than a decade ago after spending three years at CNN. She also filed reports for MSNBC while working as a reporter for NBC’s San Diego station KNSD (Channel 39).
