Three major radio broadcasters have been nominated for potential Webby Awards this year, mainly for their Internet-based audio products.

Terrestrial broadcaster iHeartMedia is nominated in a handful of podcast categories, including the Best Series category for “Symptomatic: A Medical Mystery Podcast” and the Entertainment, Limited Series & Specials category for “Stealing Superman.”

Competing broadcaster Audacy is nominated for its streaming radio app, which offers access to hundreds of Audacy radio stations as well as podcasts produced by the company and third parties.

SiriusXM is up for six possible Webby Awards — five for its SXM Media podcasts and one for an advertising campaign produced by its streaming subsidiary Pandora in partnership with Nabisco. The podcasts nominated for Webby Awards include “LeVar Burton Reads,” “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” and “Welcome to Provincetown,” among others.

The winners of the 27th annual Webby Awards will be announced on Tuesday, April 25, with an in-person celebration and awards show to take place next month.
