Charter Communications has added Spectrum SportsNet LA in markets served by Cox Communications after the two companies completed their merger on Thursday.

Starting this week, Cox subscribers in Las Vegas, Orange County, Palos Verdes and Santa Barbara with certain pay TV packages can now watch Spectrum SportsNet LA through their service, which is in the process of being rebranded as Spectrum TV.

The channel serves as the exclusive home of locally-televised Los Angeles Dodgers, with Spectrum SportsNet LA producing pre-game and post-game coverage for all games (including those offered by ESPN, NBC and Prime Video).

SportsNet LA’s studio coverage begins an hour before most games with “LeadOff LA.” The network’s flagship program, “Access SportsNet: Dodgers,” airs 30 minutes before first pitch with player interviews, highlights and analysis, and returns after games with additional highlights, clubhouse interviews and studio analysis.

Charter closed its acquisition of Cox this month, combining two of the largest cable operators in the country. Cox subscribers are now gaining access to channels, including regional sports networks, that were previously unavailable to them.
