Parks Associates has announced its advisory board and preliminary agenda for its next installment of the Future of Video conference scheduled for later this year in Southern California.

In a press release on Thursday, Parks Associates said Roku’s President of Subscriptions, Partnerships and Corporate Development Gil Fuchsberg will deliver the keynote opening address when the conference kicks off in mid-November.

The timing of the keynote is particularly noteworthy, given Roku’s recent deal to be acquired by Fox Corporation for $22 billion.

Parks Associates also announced this year’s advisory board consisting of executives and thought leaders from a wide range of stakeholders in the video space, including Comcast, TV One, Verizon, Philo, Warner Bros Discovery (WBD), Siganaka Media Group, Vidgo, OTT.X, Sony, Trusted Media Brands, Canela Media, Fox-owned Tubi, Broadpeak, FloSports, FEVA TV, StreamingMethod, Dish Network, Sling TV, Google Ad Manager, StoryTech and LG Electronics

The ninth annual conference will take place November 17-18 at the Marina del Rey Marriott in Marina del Rey, California. Parks Associates announced the preliminary agenda and advisory board for the event this week.

The event will feature research from Parks Associates’ “Streaming Video Tracker” and the firm’s quarterly consumer research across the video and connected-home markets.

“As streaming enters a new phase of maturity, competition, and consolidation, industry priorities and value have shifted,” Mindi Sue Sternblitz-Rubenstein, Vice President of Marketing at Parks Associates, said in a statement on Thursday. “Future of Video is the best forum to network, learn, and join the industry leaders in media and entertainment.”
