Broadcast and connected television technology firm Amagi and enterprise software platform Whip Media are teaming up with production and distribution company Electric Entertainment to help optimize the latter’s streaming and video distribution strategies, the companies announced on Friday.

The partnership will involve the three working together on new analytics and content performance tracking solutions that will help Electric Entertainment optimize its distribution strategies centered around its content brand Electric Now.

The initial phase of the pact will see Whip Media integrate its FASTrack solution into Amagi Analytics, which the company say will help Electric Now “optimize its content performance tracking and enhance partner payment solutions in the rapidly growing FAST (free, ad-supported streaming TV) and AVOD (ad-supported video on-demand) markets.”

“We needed better data for programming analytics, and our finance team needed better, easier ways to recognize FAST revenue and calculate royalties to our content suppliers,” Michael Johnson, the Director of Operations at Electric Now, said in a statement. “Electric Now’s partnership with Amagi and Whip Media filled in those gaps across all our FAST and AVOD efforts. Having a single platform in FASTrack that can do all of that is extremely powerful. It means we spend more time actively growing our FAST business and less time trying to make sense of it all.”

“Amagi is committed to delivering exceptional value to our customers via its Amagi ONE partner program,” said Srinivasan KA, the co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Amagi. “Our collaboration with Whip Media allows us to offer Electric Now a comprehensive solution that combines our deep expertise and leadership in the FAST segment with their advanced analytics capabilities.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Amagi to bring our FASTrack product to a broader audience, including Electic Now,” said Carol Hanley, the CEO of Whip Media. “With FASTrack, our customers gain a competitive edge by overcoming the complexities of data aggregation from diverse platforms and services. This solution streamlines operations and provides decision-makers with consistent performance insights.”

Electric Now is one of the premier distributors of ad-supported content, with shows like “Leverage,” “The Librarians” and “Almost Paradise” available on FAST services like Amazon’s Freevee, Samsung TV Plus, Vizio WatchFree Plus, MyBundle FAST, Sling Freestream, Plex and The Roku Channel, among others.

Amagi provides broadcast and streaming TV technology to some of the world’s leading media brands, including DAZN, Cox Media Group, Lionsgate, Comcast’s NBC Universal and A+E Networks. Whip Media provides data-driven solutions that help entertainment firms make smarter and more-profitable content decisions.
