Allen Media Group’s free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) platform Local Now has furthered its partnership with Paramount Global’s CBS News by incorporating three national content streams into its service.

The streams — “Entertainment Tonight,” “60 Mintues FAST” and “48 Hours” — join several local news feeds from CBS-owned stations that debuted on the platform around this time last year. Local Now has also offered the national news channel CBS News 24/7 for some time.

“Through the addition of these three excellent CBS FAST channels, Local Now continues to expand its foothold in delivering the best FREE streaming entertainment and news content available,” said Byron Allen, the founder, chairman and CEO of Allen Media Group. “Local Now is growing exponentially, and content partnerships like CBS play a crucial role in the platform’s success.”

Over the past several years, Local Now has grown its news offerings to include FAST channels from NBC News, NBC-owned stations, USA Today and the BBC.

For CBS News, the addition of the national news streams expands the reach of its news-oriented content offerings. On Local Now, streamers can watch back episodes of the network’s news magazine show “60 Minutes,” full episodes of “48 Hours” and clips from its showbiz-centric “Entertainment Tonight,” without having to pay anything.

“Partnering with Local Now introduces our award-winning news, entertainment, and true crime programming to new audiences,” Wendy McMahon, the President and CEO of CBS News and Stations, the local broadcasting division of CBS, said in a statement. “Our best-in-class franchises 60 Minutes, 48 Hours and Entertainment Tonight have built dedicated followings, and we’re excited to offer streaming viewers the chance to engage with our journalism and entertainment content on these thoughtfully curated FAST channels.”

Local Now is available on all major streaming TV platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV (Google TV) and Apple TV, as well as on Xfinity’s X1 and Xumo platforms, Vizio SmartCast and Samsung Tizen OS-powered TVs. Apps are also available for Apple and Android phones and tablets.
