Satellite and streaming pay television provider DirecTV is committing $1 million to wildfire relief and recovery efforts in Southern California, the company announced this week.

Additionally, DirecTV says it will broadcast the FireAid benefit concert on Thursday, January 30 at 10 p.m. Eastern Time (7 p.m. Pacific Time) from the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in Inglewood. The benefit will include performances by Billie Eilish, Dave Matthews, Jelly Roll, John Mayer, Green Day, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Nicks and Sting, among others.

FireAid is intended to help raise additional money for wildfire relief efforts following the devastating Palisades Fire, Hurst Fire, Eaton Fire and others that ignited in the Los Angeles area earlier this month.

DirecTV is headquartered in El Segundo, a city in Los Angeles County. The company says the benefit concert will be free to access on its satellite and streaming platforms, regardless of a subscriber’s pay TV package. On satellite, FireAid will broadcast on Channel 101. The concert will also be available on DirecTV’s new free streaming platform, MyFree DirecTV.

Streamers and TV viewers who want to make a donation to FireAid can do so by clicking or tapping this link.

In addition to DirecTV, DirecTV Stream and MyFree DirecTV, FireAid will broadcast and stream on Hulu, Disney Plus, Max, Peacock, Paramount Plus, Netflix, YouTube, NBC News Now, FanDuel Sports Network, KTLA Plus, Veeps, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, iHeart Radio and SiriusXM.
