WTA Ventures and Tennis Channel have announced a six-year extension of their media rights partnership, securing exclusive U.S. coverage of WTA tennis across all Tennis Channel platforms through 2032.

The agreement ensures continued access to WTA 1000, 500, and 250 tournaments (excluding U.S.-based events) as well as the season-ending WTA Finals, featuring the top singles players and doubles teams.

The multi-platform deal includes Tennis Channel’s linear network, streaming service T2, and digital outlets such as its app and TennisChannel.com, reinforcing the network’s position as the home of women’s professional tennis in the U.S.

As part of the expanded collaboration, WTA Ventures and Tennis Channel will work closely to enhance coverage and audience engagement, building on the WTA’s refreshed brand identity and recent growth in U.S. viewership. Viewership of live WTA matches on Tennis Channel has continued to rise in 2025, following a strong increase in 2024, including marked growth among the 18-34 demographic.

Tennis Channel’s commitment to women’s tennis has also been bolstered by the introduction of “Women’s Day” programming on T2. Since June 2024, the platform has dedicated every Tuesday exclusively to women’s competition, available for free across the U.S. This initiative will continue under the new deal, with the network pledging to ensure parity of coverage between the men’s and women’s tours while broadening distribution and digital reach under Chairman and CEO Jeff Blackburn.

“The U.S. is a hugely significant market for the WTA and we are excited to be partnering with Tennis Channel to bring six more seasons of brilliant tennis to fans across all its platforms,” said Marina Storti, CEO of WTA Ventures. “Tennis Channel has shown a strong commitment to the WTA through this agreement, and we have a shared ambition to continue to deepen audience engagement and grow the impact of women’s tennis. By securing a multi-year investment from a valued strategic partner, this deal is a significant milestone for WTA Ventures as we continue to execute our strategy to achieve a step change in the commercial value of women’s tennis.”

“The WTA has been an important part of Tennis Channel since our first days on air. We couldn’t be happier to extend this partnership into the next decade,” said Blackburn. “Women’s tennis is one of the most thrilling products in sports, and the tour has never been stronger than it is right now. Tennis Channel looks forward to developing innovative ways to attract and entertain new fans, and to keep building on this momentum with Marina and her team.”
