Free TV Networks adds new Defy, 365BLK broadcast affiliates

Stations in Amarillo, Portland, Seattle, Houston, Atlanta, Buffalo and Reno now have one or both multicast offerings through partnerships with Gray Media and E. W. Scripps.

Free TV Networks has forged a distribution partnership with Gray Media and the E. W. Scripps Company that brings it two multicast networks 365BLK and Defy to more broadcast TV households across America.

The deal includes the distribution of Black-oriented 365BLK in markets like Alexandria, Amarillo, Jonesboro, South Bend and Reno, while reality-filled Defy comes to Atlanta, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Houston, Milwaukee, New Orleans, West Palm Beach, Portland and Seattle.

“Expanding Free TV Networks’ distribution is crucial in continuing our mission to provide the widest possible audience with access to premium programming at no cost,” said Joe Cantrell, Chief Distribution and Development Officer of Free TV Networks. “Our new distribution with Scripps and Gray Media allows us to reach deeply into communities across the country and serve viewers who are increasingly looking for free entertaining and engaging alternatives to paying for TV.”

365BLK is now available on the following stations:

  • Biloxi (Gray Media) – WLOX (Channel 13.7)
  • Cape Girardeau Paducah (Gray Media) – KFVS (Channel 12.7)
  • Champaign Decatur Springfield (Gray Media) – WBXC (Channel 18.5)
  • Evansville (Gray Media) – WFIE (Channel 14.5)
  • Huntsville (Gray Media) – WAFF (Channel 48.7)
  • Jonesboro (Gray Media) – KAIT (Channel 8.4)
  • Lake Charles (Gray Media) – KPLC (Channel 7.7)
  • Meridian (Gray Media) – WTOK (Channel 11.7)
  • Montgomery (Gray Media) – WSFA (Channel 12.5)
  • Reno (Gray Media) – KOLO (Channel 8.7)
  • South Bend (Gray Media) – WNDU (Channel 16.2)

Defy, which Free TV Networks operates through a content partnership with A+E Global Media, is now available on these channels:
