Verizon is lowering the price of its HBO Max streaming perk for its wireless and home Internet customers, The Desk has learned.

Starting next week, new and existing customers with the HBO Max with Ads plan will be able to upgrade to HBO Max Standard (without ads) for $7.50 per month, a discount of $3.50 off Verizon’s prior pricing for that plan, a spokesperson confirmed.

An add-on that allows customers to upgrade HBO Max Standard to HBO Max Premium will drop to $12 per month, a $3 savings off Verizon’s prior pricing. And Verizon is maintaining its price point of HBO Max with Ads when bundled with Netflix, which will stay at $10 per month — even though HBO Max rolled out a price increase on the retail cost of the service.

All plans are available when added onto an eligible MyPlan wireless package or MyHome Internet plan.

Existing customers with any of the affected plans will see the new prices automatically applied after December 16, as will customers who sign up for any of the plans after that date. New customers are also eligible to take advantage of the new pricing on December 16.

Other streaming perks offered through Verizon’s MyPlan and MyHome services include:

  • Apple Music Family: $10 per month (normally $17 per month)
  • Apple One: $15 per month (normally $20 per month)
  • Disney Trio Bundle (Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN Plus) with Ads: $10 per month (normally $20 per month)
  • Fox One: $15 per month (normally $20 per month)
  • Google AI Pro: $10 per month (normally $20 per month)
  • YouTube Premium: $10 per month (normally $14 per month)

Current customers of AT&T and T-Mobile can explore additional holiday-related savings on Verizon’s phones and plans by clicking or tapping here.
