The Walt Disney Company’s general entertainment streamer Hulu has launched a new package that offers a handful of Spanish-language networks with Disney Plus for a low monthly price.

The new package, called Live TV en Español, costs $30 per month and includes Univision, Unimas, History en Español, CNN en Español, Fox Deportes, ESPN Deportes, NatGeo Mundo, Bandamax, TUDN and other channels, plus on-demand access to the ad-supported content libraries of Hulu and Disney Plus.

Notably absent from the package are Spanish networks owned by Comcast, including Telemundo, which are in the higher-priced Hulu with Live TV service that starts at $90 per month. ESPN Unlimited and ESPN Plus are also not included in the package.

Still, at $30 per month, Hulu’s Live TV en Español is one of the most-affordable ways for Spanish-language speakers to watch live and on-demand content, without having to shell out for a base programming package that includes English-language channels that they may not want or need.

Disney says the package is accessible within the Hulu app for phones, tablets and smart TVs. Disney is planning to wind down its standalone Hulu app in favor of distributing content via Disney Plus on an exclusive basis; The Desk previously reported Hulu with Live TV’s channels are likely to be integrated into Disney’s other live TV service, Fubo, once that change occurs.
