  • LG unveiled its 2026 OLED lineup at CES, led by the ultra-thin OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV with true wireless connectivity.
  • The new models feature Hyper Radiant Color Technology, a more powerful Alpha 11 AI Processor and expanded AI personalization.
  • LG also targeted gamers with 4K 165Hz support, advanced refresh technologies and low-latency performance.

LG Electronics unveiled its 2026 OLED television lineup at CES 2026, highlighted by the reintroduction of its Wallpaper OLED TV, the LG OLED evo W6. The new model combines the brand’s thinnest form factor to date with “True Wireless” connectivity and LG’s latest display innovation, Hyper Radiant Color Technology, positioning the company to extend its 13-year lead in OLED televisions.

The LG OLED evo W6 is less than one centimeter thick, achieved through a redesign that miniaturizes internal components and introduces a new wall mount. The result is a TV that sits flush against the wall, reinforcing the device’s “Wallpaper” designation. All inputs are handled wirelessly through LG’s Zero Connect Box, which transmits video and audio up to 10 meters from the screen, eliminating the need for cables at the display itself. According to LG, this makes the W6 the world’s thinnest true wireless OLED TV. The company states that the device delivers 4K video and audio with no visible loss of quality, supported by a 150Mbps wireless connection.

The 2026 OLED evo series is powered by Hyper Radiant Color Technology, which LG says improves black levels, color accuracy, and brightness while minimizing screen reflections. The W6 features LG’s Brightness Booster Ultra, enabling luminance up to 3.9 times brighter than standard OLED panels. The screen also has the lowest reflectance of any LG TV, and has received the Reflection Free Premium certification from Intertek. Perfect black levels and wide color gamuts, validated by UL Solutions, are retained, and the TV’s performance is further enhanced by LG’s new Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3. The processor, featuring a neural processing unit 5.6 times more powerful than its predecessor, enables simultaneous noise reduction and detail preservation through a dual AI engine, according to LG.

Personalization features include the expanded LG Gallery+ platform, allowing users to display more than 4,500 curated visuals, personal photos, or AI-generated artwork on the TV, with background music to match the mood. The webOS platform now supports voice recognition with individualized profiles, and integrates Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot for conversational AI features. Security is provided by LG Shield, which utilizes enhanced encryption and has been recognized with a CES 2026 Innovation Award.

The OLED evo W6 and other 2026 models also target the gaming sector, supporting a 4K 165Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, AMD FreeSync Premium, and a 0.1 millisecond pixel response time. Auto Low Latency Mode is included for minimal input lag.

The 2026 OLED lineup will be demonstrated at the LG Electronics booth during CES 2026, which runs January 6 to 9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. LG did not announce pricing or release dates for the new models.
