  • LG Electronics is partnering with iHeartMedia to bring more than 850 radio stations to the company’s LG Radio Plus service.
  • LG Radio Plus is available on LG smart TVs and connected devices, extending audio streaming across the home; the platform offers personalized discovery features, including curated content and location-based station recommendations.
  • The partnership is part of an ongoing strategy at LG to enhance its free, ad-supported streaming services with broader content and additional accessibility.

LG is improving its free streaming radio service LG Radio Plus by adding streaming audio stations from iHeartMedia, the companies announced this week.

The agreement brings more than 850 live iHeartRadio stations, digital-only music channels and iHeartMedia’s extensive podcast catalog to LG Radio Plus (stylized as LG Radio+), broadening the service’s lineup of audio programming for listeners in the United States.

LG Radio Plus is available on LG smart TVs running webOS 6.0 and later, where users can access the service through the Home launcher bar or the LG Content Store. The company said the partnership is part of a broader effort to enhance audio discovery and provide users with a wider selection of radio, podcast and music programming.

The expanded service will also be integrated across additional LG products: Users can access LG Radio Plus through the LG ThinQ app when using compatible Xboom speakers, and LG plans to add direct access through the “My” button on Xboom devices starting in 2026.

Matthew Durgin, the Vice President of Content and Services at LG Electronics USA, said the addition of iHeartRadio’s programming library strengthens the company’s effort to make audio content more accessible across its connected device ecosystem.

“With radio stations, podcasts and music being a vital companion in our daily lives, LG Radio Plus makes it easier than ever to tune in to a curated list of audio streaming content,” Durgin said in a statement.

iHeart Digital Audio Group CEO Conal Byrne said the partnership aligns with iHeartMedia’s strategy of expanding distribution across connected devices and platforms.

“We are excited to integrate iHeartRadio into LG Radio Plus,” Byrne said this week. “This integration reflects our commitment to meeting listeners everywhere they are, making premium audio content even more accessible in a seamless experience across the connected home.”

LG Radio Plus offers an interface designed to simplify content discovery, allowing users to browse live radio stations, podcasts and music playlists. The platform includes curated recommendations from iHeartRadio, national and international programming, and location-based station suggestions that can be tailored using a user’s ZIP code.
