TiVo Channels has expanded its free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) offering with dozens of new channels across the United States and key European markets, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
The move announced on Wednesday broadens the content lineup available through the platform, adding programming from a wide range of global media companies and content distributors as competition intensifies within the FAST sector.
Formerly known as TiVo Plus (stylized as TiVo+), TiVo Channels is operated by Xperi and is integrated into the company’s TiVo OS platform and broader entertainment ecosystem.
“TiVo Channels is rapidly evolving into a truly global FAST platform, bringing together premium content, trusted brands and a seamless discovery experience for viewers,” Bill Neighbors, the Chief Content Officer at Xperi, said in a statement.
The newly launched channels span a variety of genres, including scripted entertainment, sports, news, lifestyle programming, family content, music and factual programming. Among the new content partners are All3Media International, Banijay Rights, DAZN, Cineverse, Euronews and Sony Pictures Television through its Sony One channel brand, and includes additional content from well-known entertainment franchises such as “Midsomer Murders,” “Mr Bean,” “Deal or No Deal,” “Fear Factor,” “The Blacklist” and “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.”
Sports offerings have also been expanded through partnerships with DAZN, Free Live Sports and Tennis Channel, adding channels dedicated to boxing, tennis, motorsports, golf, mixed martial arts, wrestling and other sports.
Additional content categories include anime programming such as “Naruto” and “Yu-Gi-Oh,” culinary channels from America’s Test Kitchen, international news from Euronews, true crime programming, travel shows and family-focused content.
The rollout comes as FAST services continue to gain traction among viewers seeking free alternatives to traditional pay television and subscription streaming services: Platform operators have increasingly focused on expanding channel lineups and improving content discovery as competition for audience attention grows.
TiVo said the new channels are fully integrated into its entertainment platform, allowing viewers to access FAST channels alongside live television and streaming apps through a unified interface.
