Fox News Media finished the second quarter of the year (Q2) as the leading news publisher on YouTube and across social media, extending its lead over broadcast and cable news competitors in video consumption and audience engagement.

According to data from Emplifi, Fox News Media generated 1.4 billion YouTube video views across its portfolio during the second quarter. Of that total, Fox News accounted for 1.1 billion views, surpassing every other major news organization.

MS NOW ranked second with 763 million YouTube views during the quarter, followed by CNN with 511 million. ABC News recorded 337 million views, while NBC News generated 310 million and CBS News finished with 136 million.

Fox News said it has generated 3.3 billion YouTube video views since the beginning of 2026, including 2.5 billion attributed to Fox News Channel alone. The company said the second quarter marked its seventh consecutive quarter as the top-performing news brand on YouTube.

Fox Business contributed 158 million YouTube views during the quarter.

Beyond YouTube, Fox News Media also led the news industry in social media engagement during the second quarter, according to Emplifi. The company reported 269 million interactions across Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok.

Facebook accounted for 122 million interactions, while Instagram generated 51.9 million. Fox News also recorded 18.2 million interactions on X, representing a 71 percent increase compared with the same period last year. According to Comscore Social, Fox News generated an additional 76.8 million interactions on TikTok.

The company also finished first on YouTube during June, delivering 270 million video views.
