Comcast has launched the latest iteration of its Xfinity Member Celebration, a limited-time promotional event running through August 30 that provides existing customers with expanded access to premium channels and services.

The promotion gives Xfinity subscribers bonus programming options at no additional cost or at reduced rates for the duration of the offer. The event follows Comcast’s periodic member incentive campaigns, which aim to reward loyal subscribers and encourage continued engagement with the service.

Member Celebration events have become a regular fixture in Comcast’s retention strategy, typically offering trial periods on premium networks, video on-demand credits and discounted add-on packages. The August promotion is part of the company’s broader efforts to ease customer churn as it faces pressure from streaming services and competitors offering similar promotions.

The offer is available to existing Xfinity customers and does not require additional sign-up steps beyond accessing one’s account online or through the app.

Comcast serves roughly 32 million video subscribers in the U.S. The company has consistently used targeted promotions to address churn in its video business, which continues to face pressure from cord-cutting and changing consumer viewing habits.
