Fox News Media is expanding its Spanish-language news program Fox Noticias with a weekly video podcast and daily headline updates, adding new programming intended to reach Hispanic audiences across streaming, social media and digital audio platforms.
The expansion begins on Thursday with the debut of “Cafecito Chats,” a weekly interview program hosted by Fox Noticias anchor Andrea Linares.
The podcast will feature conversations with prominent members of the Latino community, including athletes, entertainers, musicians, social media influencers and other public figures whose work intersects with news and popular culture. New episodes will be released every Thursday in audio and video formats, with distribution across YouTube, Fox One, Spotify Video and major podcast platforms.
The launch comes ahead of the November 3 midterm elections, when Fox News and other national news organizations are expected to devote considerable programming resources to coverage of congressional and gubernatorial races.
In addition to the weekly podcast, Fox Noticias will introduce daily headline updates designed for viewers and listeners seeking shorter news reports throughout the day.
The updates will be released multiple times daily, with rotating anchors presenting brief summaries of major news developments.
Fox News Media said the format is modeled after its existing Fox News Hourly Update podcast, which provides regularly scheduled news summaries through digital audio platforms. The Spanish-language updates will be distributed through the program’s existing social media accounts, digital services and podcast channels.
The new programming represents another expansion of Fox Noticias, which launched in October 2024 as part of Fox News Media’s efforts to develop Spanish-language news offerings for Hispanic audiences. The company said the program has experienced substantial growth across its digital distribution channels during the past six months.
