Apple TV (streaming service)
Apple TV is a premium, multiplatform subscription streaming television service owned by Apple. In addition to original programming, Apple TV allows customers to subscribe to third party services, including Paramount Plus with Showtime, Britbox, MGM Plus and others.
The service was known as Apple TV Plus (Apple TV+) until October 2025. It shares similar branding with, but is fundamentally different from, Apple TV, a streaming hardware solution that runs tvOS.

Though the streaming media space is becoming increasingly crowded, it's not a winner-take-all scenario, and multiple choices may ultimately be good for the industry.
