Sinclair Broadcast Group has emerged as a potential buyer for Comcast’s seven regional cable sports channels, according to a report.
The proclamation came as the satellite company was forced to remove more than a dozen NBC Sports-branded regional networks.
Customers of both Dish Network and Sling TV will lose access to the channels on April 1 when the company’s re-transmission agreement with Comcast comes to an end.
Sling TV will stop offering regional NBC Sports channels to subscribers starting next month.
