Free streaming television service Tubi TV added more than two dozen live news streams to its platform this week as part of parent company Fox Corporation’s mission to beef up the service’s content offerings.

On Thursday, the company announced it is now offering live news feeds from more than a dozen Fox owned-and-operated broadcast stations, including Oakland’s KTVU (Channel 2) and Los Angeles station KTTV (Channel 11). Those streams join others programmed by national news content partners Comcast (NBC News Now), Bloomberg, Altice US (News 12 New York, Cheddar), WeatherNation and the Black News Channel.

“We will continue to evolve News on Tubi to offer more choices, while also diversifying other content choices to serve our young, diverse, and growing userbase,” Farhad Massoudi, Tubi’s chief executive, said in a statement on Thursday.

The Fubo Sports Network and Fox Soul are also available on the news platform, the company announced in a news release. The live feeds join hundreds of movies and television shows licensed from more than 200 studios and content partners.

Fox said other linear channels will soon be added to the service, including local stations operated by Hearst Television, Estrella News and USA Today.

Tubi is available on Apple’s iOS, Android, Android TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Flex platforms.
