Dish Network’s free, ad-supported streaming service Sling Freestream added three new content channels this week, helping it achieve a major milestone.
The addition of the three new channels pushed the number of free, ad-supported content streams offered on Sling Freestream to over 400, making it one of the largest providers of free linear content streams in the market.
The three new channels added to Sling Freestream this week are:
- FilmRise: Action (movies)
- Fubo Sports Network (live sports and related programming)
- Party Tyme Karaoke (pop music sing-a-long)
The new channels add to a growing roster of live and linear programming on Sling Freestream, which includes news from NBC News, ABC News, ABC News and Scripps News; movies from Cinevault and FilmRise; entertainment from AMC Networks, Circle, Dove Channel and Shout Factory; sports; lifestyle programming; cooking; art and music. Sling Freestream also offers dozens of content streams in Spanish, as well as international channels.
Along with the 400-plus linear channels, Sling Freestream makes more than 41,000 TV episodes and movies on-demand from a number of popular and niche genres.
