Fox Sports has signed a multi-year agreement with open-wheel car racing organization IndyCar Series that will see those races move to Fox’s broadcast network starting next year.
NBC previously held the rights to IndyCar Series races, including the Indianapolis 500. Some qualifying coverage and practice races were moved to Comcast’s streaming service, Peacock, over the last few years.
Fox promises all races will air on the Fox broadcast network, making them available across the country on free, over-the-air television. All races will also stream through the Fox Sports app, the network said on Thursday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 2025 IndyCar Series season begins March 2 with the Firestone Grand Prix, and will conclude that August with the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. The Indianapolis 500 will take place on May 25, Fox said.
Practice and qualifying sessions will air on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2 on cable, satellite, streaming cable-like services and the forthcoming streaming platform Venu Sports.
