Paramount-owned free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service Pluto TV is upping the offer of streaming news channels on its platform outside the United States.

Starting this month, Pluto TV users in the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland and Austria will get access to the European feed of Warner Bros Discovery’s CNN International as well as the curated news channel CNN Fast.  Pluto TV users in France, Germany, Italy and Spain will also get access to CNN Fast, the company affirmed.

Launched last year, CNN Fast was already available on a handful of free streaming platforms in the countries, including LG Channels, Rakuten TV and Samsung TV Plus. The content stream aggregates news reports from CNN International and segments from shows like “Anderson Cooper 360,” “World Sport,” “Connect the World,” “Amanpour” and “Quest Means Business.”

CNN International has been available on a handful of free streaming platforms for about a year, including Samsung TV Plus. The channel simulcasts certain shows like “Anderson Cooper 360,” “The Situation Room” and “The Lead with Jake Tapper” from CNN’s domestic news channel, interspersed with locally-produced programming that varies by region.

In Canada, Pluto TV streamers will get access to a version of CNN Fast as well as several CBC-produced content streams, including CBC News Explore, CBC News British Columbia, CBC News Toronto and French-language channel Radio-Canada Information.

Reuters is also bringing its FAST channel, called Reuters News, to streamers in Canada, the U.K. and the Nordic countries. The channel launched in the United States several years ago.

“With the debut of CBC/Radio-Canada, CNN Fast, CNN International and Reuters on Pluto TV, we are providing both global and local news coverage to our fans, connecting our audiences with every community they belong to,” Katrina Kowalski, the Senior Vice President of International Content Programming and Acquisitions at Pluto TV, said in a statement. “By expanding our local, geo-targeted news offerings, we ensure our viewers remain updated on the most important global news, but also on what happens within their communities, enhancing their viewing experience with timely content, and getting one step closer to our mission to entertain the planet.”

Pluto TV is widely available on streaming TV platforms around the world, including Amazon’s Fire TV, Android TV (Google TV), Apple TV, Roku and smart TVs made by Samsung, LG, Hisense and others.
