Streaming hardware maker Roku is now selling subscriptions to Warner Bros Discovery’s (WBD) flagship streaming service Max, the companies announced this week.

Starting Wednesday, users of Roku’s smart TVs and streaming devices can purchase a subscription to the ad-supported or premium versions of Max straight from The Roku Channel, where the company sells subscriptions to other third party services and offers hundreds of free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) content streams.

When purchased through The Roku Channel, Roku users can stream live and on-demand content from Max, without having to install or use a separate app. Max includes hit HBO shows like “Game of Thrones,” “Succession,” The White Lotus,” “The Sopranos” and “Sex and the City,” along with Warner Bros-owned and licensed series like “South Park,” “Friends,” “ER” and programming from WBD brands like Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, TLC, the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Magnolia Network and OWN.

When purchased through The Roku Channel, a subscription to Max will cost $10 per month for the ad-lite version, or $17 per month for commercial-free streaming. The Roku Channel version of Max will also include live sports from the B/R Live add-on and news from CNN Max, the companies affirmed. The price and programming matches what streamers would pay if they purchased a subscription through the Max website itself.
