Comcast is rolling out a multi-view feature to more of its X1 set-top box users, allowing Xfinity TV customers to keep tabs on up to four March Madness games from a single screen, the company announced on Monday.

The multi-view feature will be prominently marketed during the NCAA men’s college basketball and women’s college basketball tournaments — the former of which is known as “March Madness” — with games aired across CBS and TNT Sports for March Madness and ABC and ESPN for the women’s tournament.

“With 164 basketball games airing over the course of a few weeks, March is the perfect time to introduce Xfinity Multi-view to more customers in a big way,” said Vito Forlenza, the Vice President of Sports and Entertainment at Comcast. “Now, they don’t have to choose between games, miss a buzzer beater when flipping channels, or set up another TV on a makeshift stand in their living room – all the action is right there on the same screen.”

Other Xfinity features that have launched or will soon launch include a comprehensive tournament hub that allows college basketball fans to find the latest games and information about the men’s and women’s tournaments; an interactive Sports zone app that offers a companion viewing experience supplemented by live data, brackets, schedules and scores; and the rendering of live odds, game line props and pro bets, which allows fans in many states to watch and wager through partner sportsbooks like those offered by FanDuel and DraftKings.

Additionally, Xfinity TV customers will have the ability to favorite specific men’s and women’s college basketball teams, which will create a personalized viewing experience centered around those teams across the X1 experience.
