Fox News Digital recorded its second-best month ever in May, reaching 134.4 million total digital multiplatform unique visitors and posting year-over-year growth, according to data from Comscore.

The platform led all news brands in multiplatform views for the 13th consecutive month and in multiplatform minutes for the 51st straight month. In total, Fox News Digital delivered 3.8 billion multiplatform minutes, up 18 percent from May 2024, and 1.8 billion multiplatform views, up 4 percent.

Fox News Digital also outperformed broadcast networks NBC News and ABC News across all metrics, the Comscore data revealed.

By contrast, CNN reported double-digit declines across key performance indicators. Its multiplatform views dropped 28 percent year-over-year, while multiplatform minutes fell 32 percent, and total unique multiplatform visitors decreased 18 percent.

CNN and the New York Times do not opt in to Comscore’s metric that evaluates social incremental reach in total digital multiplatform unique visitors, while Fox News Digital and other brands do.

The Fox News mobile app drew 6.3 million unique viewers in May. On YouTube, Fox News racked up 362 million video views, more than tripling ABC News and NBC News and outperforming MSNBC by over 64 million views, according to Emplifi. It also more than quintupled CBS News’ 54 million views. Year-over-year, Fox News saw a 98 percent increase in YouTube video views, surpassing MSNBC (298 million), CNN (195 million), ABC News (114 million), NBC News (111 million), CBS News (55 million), and The New York Times (13 million). Its newly launched Fox News Clips platform drew nearly 30 million views in its debut month.

Fox News was also the most engaged brand on social media in May, generating 82.7 million total interactions—up 213 percent year-over-year and 10 percent from April. That included 61.3 million Facebook interactions (up 690 percent), 18.2 million on Instagram, 3.1 million on X, and 15 million on TikTok. For the fourth time ever, Fox News surpassed 1 billion social video views across Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok. Fox Business added 845,000 social interactions during the month.

FoxBusiness.com logged 218 million multiplatform minutes, 125 million multiplatform views, and 21.7 million unique visitors in May, ranking fifth among business news outlets.

Fox News Digital is operated by Fox News Media, a division of Fox Corporation. CNN is owned by Warner Bros Discovery. MSNBC is part of Comcast’s NBC Universal; Comcast is in the process of spinning out its cable networks, including MSNBC, into a separate company called Versant.
