Fox News delivered its strongest digital performance on record in January, topping 187.7 million total digital multiplatform unique visitors, according to new data from Comscore.

The digital platform saw a 27 percent increase in visitors compared to the prior month, with Fox News leading all news brands and broadcast networks and multiplatform views and minutes, generating 1.894 billion total views, up 21 percent month-over-month, and 3.74 billion total minutes, up 23 percent from December. January marked the 21st consecutive month the company ranked first in multiplatform views and the 59th consecutive month it led in multiplatform minutes.

In the broader competitive set, CBSNews.com posted 188.1 million unique visitors in January, up 2 percent from December, narrowly ahead of Fox News on that metric. CNN.com drew 74.6 million unique visitors, up 12 percent month-over-month, while NBCNews.com recorded 109.4 million, down 4 percent. NYTimes.com delivered 64.9 million unique visitors, down 1 percent, and ABCNews.com sites totaled 36.4 million, down 3 percent.

On multiplatform views, Fox News’ 1.894 billion total outpaced NYTimes.com at 1.51 billion, up 7 percent, and CNN.com at 725 million, up 17 percent. CBSNews.com recorded 439 million views, up 21 percent, followed by NBCNews.com with 249 million, up 22 percent, and ABCNews.com sites with 137 million, up 6 percent.

Total multiplatform minutes further widened the gap. Fox News’ 3.74 billion minutes compared with 1.155 billion for NYTimes.com, down 2 percent, 1.135 billion for CNN.com, up 15 percent, and 1.04 billion for CBSNews.com, up 17 percent. NBCNews.com generated 679 million minutes, up 26 percent, while ABCNews.com sites posted 360 million, up 10 percent.

On YouTube, Fox News recorded 466 million video views in January, according to Emplifi, reflecting a 14 percent year-over-year increase and a 60 percent gain compared with December. That total exceeded MSNBC Now at 339 million views, CNN at 237 million, ABC News at 124 million, NBC News at 118 million and CBS News at 56 million. Fox News Clips generated 49.3 million views, up 92 percent month-over-month.

The Fox News mobile app attracted 6.5 million unique viewers during January, compared with 3.2 million for CNN’s app. Across social platforms, Fox News delivered 175 million interactions, including 104 million on Facebook, 25.4 million on Instagram, 7 million on X and 38.3 million on TikTok. Social video views totaled more than 2.6 billion for the month.

Separately, FOXBusiness.com generated 198.8 million multiplatform minutes, 114.5 million multiplatform views and 28.7 million total digital multiplatform unique visitors in January, ranking third within the business news category.

The strong performance of Fox News Digital was just one of several milestones the network achieved in recent months. Fox News was the most-watched cable news channel in January, based on data from Nielsen, and the news channel helped drive record sign-ups and strong retention for the streaming service Fox One during the company’s second fiscal quarter (Q2) of the year.
