Fox News Media recorded 1.5 billion YouTube video views during the first quarter of 2026, the highest among major news organizations, according to data from Emplifi.
The performance placed Fox News well ahead of its closest competitor, MS NOW, which generated 974 million views during the quarter. Fox News also outpaced CNN (707 million), ABC News (440 million), NBC News (364 million) and CBS News (194 million). Combined, those outlets still fell short of Fox News’ quarterly total.
The milestone marks the sixth consecutive quarter that Fox News has led all news brands on YouTube. The company said its video views grew 21 percent compared to the same period last year and increased 51 percent quarter over quarter. Across all of its YouTube properties, Fox News Media generated nearly 2 billion total video views during the quarter.
Fox News also led the industry in social media engagement during Q1, with 426 million total interactions across Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok, according to Emplifi and Comscore. Facebook accounted for 219 million interactions, up 52 percent year over year, while Instagram delivered 75 million interactions, a 25 percent increase from the prior quarter. Engagement on X reached 20 million, up 20 percent from 2025, and TikTok generated 115.9 million interactions, rising 35 percent year over year.
On YouTube, Fox News extended its lead in March, delivering 621 million video views — its highest monthly total on the platform to date. That figure more than doubled the performance of MS NOW (320 million) and significantly exceeded CNN (265 million), ABC News (177 million), NBC News (156 million) and CBS News (73 million). Fox News’ March performance represented a 46 percent increase year over year and a 68 percent gain compared to February.
Fox Business posted 193 million YouTube video views in Q1, up 25 percent from the previous quarter. In March alone, the business network generated 67 million views, maintaining its position as the top-ranked business news brand on YouTube for the 52nd consecutive month, according to Comscore.
