LTN has appointed two executives to bolster its multichannel platform strategy and industry outreach, as broadcasters and distributors continue transitioning from satellite to IP-based video delivery.
The company said Mark Romano has been named the Vice President of Multichannel Platforms, while Edward Cox is joining as the company’s Vice President of Sales & Business Development. Both roles are aimed at supporting LTN’s strategic communications and accelerating adoption of its IP video distribution network.
Romano will lead initiatives to expand LTN’s multichannel platform capabilities and assist MVPDs shifting away from satellite infrastructure. He brings more than two decades of experience in technology and network affiliate relations, including executive roles at SES and Outdoor Channel.
“As the industry accelerates toward IP-based distribution, our focus is building on LTN’s leading position as the go-to IP network for cable head ends,” Romano said in a statement. “LTN’s network and platform are built for scale and its multi-tenant gateways offer an easy transition for up to the full channel lineups for MVPDs.”
Cox will focus on business development and helping media companies navigate the transition from satellite-based distribution. He also previously served as Vice President at SES, where he led the company’s media business in the United States.
“LTN’s network and platform are built to deliver the reliability, flexibility, and operational efficiency broadcasters need as they transition mission-critical workflows from satellite to IP,” Cox said on Monday.
The appointments come as media companies accelerate infrastructure changes tied to evolving distribution economics and spectrum availability. With C-band spectrum changes on the horizon, broadcasters are increasingly prioritizing IP-based workflows to ensure long-term scalability and operational flexibility.
“This is a critical time of change in our industry and Mark and Ed are just the kind of experts our customers need to make a smooth transition onto LTN’s trusted IP video network,” said Bryan McGuirk, Chief Revenue Officer of LTN.
Romano and Cox are expected to play visible roles in industry engagement, including participation at the NAB Show 2026. LTN said it will host meetings and demonstrations at its booth highlighting real-world strategies for migrating from satellite to IP, including operational considerations and monetization opportunities.
The company continues to position its IP network as a scalable alternative to legacy satellite distribution, particularly for cable head ends and multichannel operators adapting to changes in content delivery and infrastructure requirements.
