Fox Television Stations has promoted longtime executive Matt McLaughlin to Senior Vice President of Ad Sales, expanding his responsibilities across the company’s owned-and-operated station group.
The appointment was announced by Tom Fleming, who recently assumed the role of Executive Vice President of Ad Sales for Fox Television Stations, and is effective immediately, Fox said in a statement.
McLaughlin will oversee all sales operations for more than two dozen Fox owned-and-operated TV stations, including local and national advertising sales efforts. He will report directly to Fleming.
“Matt is a dynamic sales leader who has consistently excelled in various roles over his long tenure at Fox,” Fleming said in a statement on Tuesday. “He has been instrumental in developing a multi-market, multi-screen mindset both internally and with our media partners, and is perfectly suited to bring this sales team to the next level.”
McLaughlin has spent 26 years with Fox Television Stations. Most recently, he served as the Vice President and Director of Sales for Fox Stations Sales, a role he assumed in 2019 after serving as Vice President and General Sales Manager.
Prior to joining the station sales division, McLaughlin held local and national sales management positions at WNYW (Channel 5) in New York City and WTTG (Channel 5) in Washington, D.C. He began his career with Fox Stations Sales as an account executive.
McLaughlin said he plans to focus on expanding advertising solutions across Fox’s growing portfolio of broadcast, digital and streaming platforms.
“I am honored to lead this amazing team and excited to continue creating innovative solutions that deliver meaningful results for all of our advertising partners,” he said on Tuesday.
Fox Television Stations is part of Fox Corporation.
