Fox Weather, the free streaming weather service backed by Fox News Media, is launching a streaming audio simulcast on SiriusXM just in time for the Atlantic hurricane season.

The audio simulcast will become available to SiriusXM’s satellite radio and streaming subscribers on Wednesday, the companies announced in a statement. The Desk first noticed programming information for the new channel over the weekend, and a Fox News Media spokesperson confirmed the Fox Weather simulcast was replacing a feed that previously offered alerts from The Weather Channel.

“As the 2026 hurricane season begins, we are thrilled to expand our distribution to SiriusXM, ensuring audiences continuous live access to our critical breaking weather coverage and analysis across every platform at every hour, throughout every storm,” Sharri Berg, the President of Fox Weather, said in a statement e-mailed to The Desk on Monday.

On streaming, Fox Weather will be available on SiriusXM Channel 799, which is also available on in-car and at-home radios that run on the SiriusXM 360L platform. During emergency weather situations, Fox Weather will also be available on traditional satellite radio tuners, even if a listener doesn’t have a SiriusXM subscription.

Previously, Fox Weather offered forecasts for Fox News Headlines 24/7, a channel that is exclusive to SiriusXM. An audio simulcast of the Fox News Channel is also available on SiriusXM Channel 114, and Fox Weather programming can be heard during early morning hours on Fox Business Network (SiriusXM Channel 113).

The launch of the Fox Weather audio simulcast comes as Fox News Media prioritizes widespread distribution of its free streaming climate network, which launched more than four years ago. The channel is available on leading platforms like YouTube, The Roku Channel, Pluto TV, Xumo Play, Sling Freestream, MyFree DIRECTV, Samsung TV Plus, Amazon Fire TV Channels, LG Channels, Vizio WatchFree Plus and Plex, and on some premium services like YouTube TV, Prime Video, Sling TV, DIRECTV, Fubo, Hulu with Live TV, Comcast’s Xfinity TV, Charter’s Spectrum TV, Optimum and Fox One.

Audio simulcasts of Fox Weather are also available on the free streaming app TuneIn and through the Audacy music player.
