  • Stingray has renewed and expanded its partnership with National Bank of Canada through 2031.
  • The new five-year agreement extends Stingray Business’ role as the bank’s background music provider.
  • Stingray will also take over National Bank’s digital signage operations across Canada and at Natbank locations in Florida.

Stingray has renewed and expanded its partnership with National Bank of Canada, securing a new five-year agreement that extends through 2031 and adds digital signage services to an existing background music relationship.

Under the expanded deal, Stingray Business will become the bank’s digital signage partner, assuming responsibility for the procurement, installation and maintenance of signage systems across National Bank branches in Canada and Natbank locations in Florida.

The agreement marks a significant expansion of Stingray’s role within the bank’s branch network, moving beyond audio services into visual communications and customer engagement technologies.

Stingray said the signage deployment will support a variety of branch formats, ranging from traditional locations equipped with LCD displays to newer branch concepts featuring advanced LED screens. The company will also oversee exterior digital signage installations, including large-format outdoor LED displays at select locations.

In addition to the new digital signage responsibilities, Stingray Business will continue providing customized background music services throughout the branch network.

The audio component includes music programming tailored to individual branch environments while adhering to official language requirements. The service also incorporates monthly playlist updates, seasonal programming and management of audio equipment procurement and installation.

“We are incredibly proud to renew our partnership with National Bank of Canada for another five years and thrilled to expand our relationship by taking on their digital signage network,” Renaud Lafrance, the Chief Revenue Officer of Stingray Business, said in a statement.

Lafrance said the expanded agreement reflects Stingray’s strategy of delivering integrated multimedia solutions that combine audio and visual experiences within customer-facing environments.

National Bank said the partnership supports its efforts to modernize branches and enhance the customer experience across its physical locations.

“Their ability to combine digital signage with thoughtfully curated audio experiences helps us create a more welcoming and modern environment across our branch network,” Pierre Dufour, the Senior Vice President of Client Experience & Strategy at National Bank, said in a statement on Tuesday.

The renewed partnership will support the bank’s evolving branch strategy while providing Stingray with a long-term platform for deploying both digital signage and audio services across a major North American financial institution, the companies affirmed.
