AT&T WarnerMedia’s streaming service HBO Max will expand to six European countries by the end of October, the company announced on Wednesday.

Starting October 26, HBO Max will land on streaming platforms in Andorra, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Spain and Sweden, with other European countries to follow after the start of next year.

“This is a historic moment as HBO Max lands in Europe,” Johannes Larcher, an executive in charge of HBO Max’s international distribution, said in a statement. “WarnerMedia movies and series like ‘Harry Potter,’ ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘The Big Bang Theory’ are passionately consumed by fans all across Europe, and HBO Max has been created to provide them with the most intuitive and convenient viewing experience to watch these and a diverse range of other amazing titles.”

AT&T plans to discuss pricing and other information at a formal launch event for HBO Max in Europe next month. There are no plans to debut an ad-supported version of the streaming service in Europe similar to the cheaper version launched over the summer in the United States, according to company officials.

Some European countries, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany and France, will initially miss out on the HBO Max experience due to existing licensing agreements with pay television systems for HBO content. In the United Kingdom and Germany, WarnerMedia currently distributes HBO programs on Sky Atlantic.

Currently, HBO Max is available in the United States, most of Latin America and the Caribbean.
