Retail giant Walmart is teaming up with Roku on an exclusive streaming television device.

Starting Monday, Walmart shoppers can pick up the Roku Premiere 4K in a brilliant snow-colored finish for just $19, making it the cheapest Roku streaming gadget capable of playing ultra-high definition (4K) content on the market.

The Roku Premiere 4K offers access to thousands of streaming video apps, including Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime Video, Sling TV, Philo, Paramount Plus, Peacock and more. There’s plenty of free content to stream, too, with hundreds of movies and TV shows available from the Roku Channel, Tubi, Pluto TV, YouTube, STIRR, Redbox, Plex, Xumo Play and others.

Cable and satellite users who are tired of paying high bills and hidden fees just to watch local channels, sports and news can pick up a Roku and save big bucks when they “cut the cord” and switch to a streaming cable TV alternative like Frndly TV ($6 a month), Philo ($25 a month) or sports-packed Vidgo. Other streaming services, including Sling TV, YouTube TV and Fubo TV, are also supported on the Roku Premiere 4K.

The Roku Premiere 4K comes with everything that a person needs to start streaming right out of the box, including a premium HDMI cable for connecting the Roku Premiere 4K to an HD or 4K-capable TV set. It also comes with a 30-day free trial of HBO Max and Discovery Plus, and a $5 coupon to the Redbox digital movie store. Other free streaming trials are available from Roku as well.

Batteries are included for the Roku Premiere 4K remote control, which includes shortcut buttons to popular streaming services like Netflix. Roku’s intuitive user interface makes it easy for even non-techie people to stream on-demand and live movies and TV shows — there’s a reason why Roku is the most-popular streaming platform in North America.

The Roku Premiere 4K is available to purchase exclusively at Walmart, starting Monday, November 21. When purchased online through this link, the cost is just $19, and shoppers can have the Roku Premiere 4K shipped right to their doorstep or opt for free in-store pickup at their nearest Walmart store.
