Wallet-friendly streaming service Philo has added the USA Today Channel to its line-up of more than 70 live television networks.

USA Today Channel offers a mixture of entertainment and lifestyle programming, highlighting the best original reporting, heartwarming stories and pop culture moments. Shows aired on USA Today Channel include “USA Today Money,” “Elevator Pitch” and “Talk Back to Television.”

“We’re super excited to launch another new channel for our Philo community, USA Today,” a spokesperson for Philo said in a statement on Wednesday. “Offering news, entertainment and lifestyle content that brings viewers helpful tips and information about people and communities worldwide, USA Today is packed with unique storytelling spanning the nation’s news to heartwarming human moments, sports, and pop culture.”

USA Today’s parent company Gannett launched several streaming television channels in 2018, including USA Today Channel. The channels were reworked about two years ago to include distribution on major streaming platforms, including Amazon News, Tubi, Comcast’s Xumo Play and the Roku Channel.

USA Today Channel is listed on the “Free channels” section of Philo’s electronic program guide, though Philo users are currently only able to access free channels if they have a $25 a month subscription. Philo offers a 7-day free trial to new customers who sign up through this link.

In addition to USA Today Channel, Philo offers a number of other free, ad-supported streaming channels, including Cheddar News, Gusto TV, Players TV, Revry, Retro Crush, PocketWatch and Ryan & Friends. A subscription to Philo unlocks dozens of other top-tier cable channels like A&E, History Channel, Comedy Central, Discovery Channel, AMC Network, Nickelodeon, VH1, MTV, Lifetime, HGTV, Me TV, Heroes & Icons and more.

Philo is available on Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Android TV (Google TV) and some Samsung smart TVs. The service can also be access through most popular smartphones, tablets and web browsers.
