Dish Network’s free, ad-supported service Sling Freestream has added eight new channels this week, including several that are in Spanish.

Three of the new channels come from FilmRise, one of the biggest distributors of free-to-access television shows and movies, including a new Spanish-language channel that offers free movies around-the-clock.

The new channels added this week to Sling Freestream are:

  • Autopista al Cielo: Reruns of the hit fantasy series
  • FilmRise Horror: Scary thrillers
  • FilmRise Kids: Shows like “Slugterra” and “Barney & Friends”
  • FilmRise Peliculas Gratis: Free movies in Spanish
  • Food52: Reality-based culinary programming
  • Motorvision.TV Español: Legendary motorsport races in Spanish
  • Motorvision.TV Deutsch: Legendary motorsport races in German
  • SoniCentric: Relaxing screenscapes

The eight new streams bring the number of channels offered in English, Spanish and other languages on Sling Freestream to over 380. Sling Freestream is available within the Sling TV app on most platforms — including Roku, Amazon Prime Video, Android TV (Google TV) and Apple TV — without a subscription or credit card required.
