Dish Network’s free, ad-supported streaming service Sling Freestream launched seven new channels this week, including four from the Estrella Media brand.

The majority of the new channels are in Spanish, signaling Dish’s interest in incorporating more non-English news, sports and general entertainment programming into what is quickly becoming one of the biggest free linear streaming platforms in the United States.

The seven new channels added to Sling Freestream this week are:

  • B4U Aflam (Arabic)
  • Cine Estrella TV (Spanish)
  • Craftsy TV
  • Electric Now en Español (Spanish)
  • Estrella Games (Spanish)
  • Estrella Noticias (Spanish)
  • Estrella TV (Spanish)

The new channels help bring Sling Freestream’s total to over 420 linear content streams, which includes live news programming, sports coverage, documentaries, feature-length films, classic TV shows, music, reality shows, lifestyle programs and children’s entertainment. A full list of Sling Freestream channels is available by clicking or tapping here.

Sling Freestream is available without a credit card or even an account, and can be accessed through the same Sling TV app that powers the pay television service. Sling Freestream is supported on phones, tablets, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV (Google TV), Xfinity X1 and Flex boxes and newer-model smart TVs made by Samsung, LG and Vizio.

Sling Freestream users can always upgrade to a subscription of Sling TV, the pay television service that offers ESPN, CNNFox News, NFL Network and other channels, starting at just $40 a month.
