Fans of Pittsburgh professional sports can now watch their local baseball and hockey teams without a traditional cable or satellite subscription.

On Monday, Fenway Sports Group announced the launch of SNP 360, a direct-to-consumer streaming television service for its regional network SportsNet Pittsburgh that will offer live access to Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins games for $18 per month.

It marks the first time the games have been offered on a dedicated streaming service outside the traditional pay TV bundle since SportsNet Pittsburgh was split off from Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) last year. The channel was previously known as AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh under WBD’s ownership.

“Our desire has been to reach fans wherever they are and give them options to access our clubs’ telecasts,” Sean McGrail, the CEO of SportsNet Pittsburgh, said in a statement. “There are many people now who don’t subscribe a linear TV bundle, and we wanted to make sure they had the opportunity to engage with our teams and be part of the fan base.”

Those who do have a cable or satellite subscription with SportsNet Pittsburgh in their bundle will have access to the app as part of their plan.

The launch of SNP 360 comes as other regional sports channels have brought their live sports programming to streamers beyond the cable bundle. Last year, the YES Network and MSG Networks launched their own streaming services in the New York metropolitan area, priced between $25 and $30 per month. Diamond Sports Group’s Bally Sports also offers a regional sports streaming service priced around $20 per month.
