
TCL has brought nearly two dozen free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels from Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) to its smart TVs in the United States, the companies announced this week.
The channels are available through the TCL TV Plus (stylized as TCLtv+) app for TCL-branded Roku and Android TV (Google TV) sets, and joins a growing list of more than 350 free linear content streams offered through the service.
The channels added this week from WBD include marathon channels with WB television programming, news and sports:

“WBD boasts a rich and diverse line-up of iconic series that entertain and inform global audiences,” Catherine Zhang, the Vice President of Content Service and Partnerships at TCL, said in a statement. “Our new partnership gives our audiences access to classic series and specials across a wide array of genres, as well as new options from our growing News and Opinion category.”
The deal is the latest between TCL and a major entertainment provider to add free content to its FAST platform. TCL already distributes channels from Comcast’s NBC Universal, Bloomberg, Fox Corporation, Paramount Global, Hearst Television, Lionsgate, the E. W. Scripps Company, Fremantle and others. Amagi provides software and streaming-related services for the TCL TV Plus platform.
