Swerve TV has launched its flagship streaming channel Swerve Women’s Sports on Fubo, Plex, Amazon Fire TV and services powered by Anoki AI, the company announced on Monday.
The announcement was made in a press release by Swerve TV CEO Steve Shannon ahead of the StreamTV Show in Denver, which kicks off on Tuesday.
“Swerve Women’s Sports has built meaningful momentum in its first year, reflecting both the growing demand for women’s sports content and the strength of our programming strategy,” Shannon said in a statement.
Swerve Women’s Sports currently offers more than 10 hours of live sports programming each month, including coverage of the INTENNSE Tennis season through early August and competitions from STIHL Timbersports, including the U.S. Women’s Pro Championship on July 25 and the DACH Women’s Finals on August 29.
On Juneteenth (Friday, June 19), the network will also air a 24-hour marathon celebrating Black female athletes, featuring programming focused on athletes including Simone Biles, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Claressa Shields, JuJu Watkins, Madison Booker, Brittney Griner and Trinity Rodman.
In addition to its new distribution partners, Swerve Women’s Sports is available on Paramount’s Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Free Live Sports, Lights Out Sports and Zeam in the United States. The channel is also available on The Roku Channel in the United Kingdom.
Swerve TV executives will be in attendance at the StreamTV Show in Denver from Tuesday through Friday. The Desk is an editorial partner of this year’s StreamTV Show; readers can save 10 percent off a conference pass by using the code DESK10 at this registration page.
