Nexstar Media Group and DAZN will make 15 Indiana Pacers regular-season games available free to viewers across parts of the team’s regional territory during the 2026-27 NBA season.
The games will be simulcast on Nexstar-owned television stations and streamed free through DAZN, allowing viewers to watch over the air, through participating television providers or on connected devices.
In Indianapolis, WTTV (Channel 4) and WXIN (Channel 59) will serve as the television homes for the 15-game package. The games will also air on WTVW (Channel 7) in Evansville and WCIX (Channel 49) in Champaign, Illinois.
The first simulcast is scheduled for October 23 when the Pacers face the Dallas Mavericks.
Nexstar said it intends to add stations elsewhere in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Kentucky, creating a broader regional television network for the 15 games. Additional affiliates will be announced later.
“Serving local viewers is at the heart of everything we do, and this partnership combines the reach of local television with the convenience of streaming,” Matthew Rosenfeld, the Executive Vice President of Nexstar’s broadcasting division, said in a statement.
DAZN is serving as the Pacers’ new live streaming home. Games outside the 15 free simulcasts will be available with a paid DAZN subscription, which will also include expanded pregame and postgame coverage, highlights, behind-the-scenes access and original programming.
The arrangement expands the Pacers’ availability beyond DAZN by using Nexstar’s local broadcast stations to provide free over-the-air access to selected games.
