  • Mediaocean has integrated its Prisma Direct platform with Microsoft Advertising, allowing advertisers to manage search campaigns through existing media buying systems.
  • The integration automates campaign orders, performance reporting, invoicing and financial reconciliation.
  • Advertisers can submit campaign orders directly from Prisma without separately entering information into Microsoft’s advertising platform.

Advertising technology company Mediaocean has integrated its Prisma Direct platform with Microsoft Advertising, allowing agencies and brands to manage search advertising campaigns through a centralized media buying system.

The companies announced Wednesday that the integration connects campaign planning, purchasing, performance reporting and invoicing, reducing the need for advertisers to manage those activities across separate platforms.

Under the arrangement, advertisers can create campaign orders in Prisma and transmit them directly to the Microsoft Advertising Platform without manually entering the same information into both systems.

Campaign performance data is then returned automatically to Prisma, allowing agencies to monitor advertising spending, track campaign delivery and reconcile results within their existing workflows. The integration also supports electronic invoicing, with Microsoft Advertising invoices flowing directly into Prisma’s financial management tools.

“Search remains one of the most important channels for marketers, yet the workflow often requires teams to move between separate planning, buying, reporting, and billing systems,” Drew Kane, Chief Product Officer of Prisma, said on Wednesday, noting the integration allows advertisers to manage more of the campaign process without switching between platforms.

“Advertisers want greater connectivity between the systems they use to plan media and the platforms where campaigns are activated,” Yolanda Lam, the General Manager and Global Head of Agency Development, Microsoft Advertising, said in a statement on Wednesday. “By connecting the Microsoft Advertising Platform directly with Prisma, we’re helping agencies create a more consistent workflow across campaign management, performance, and billing so they can manage their investments more efficiently.”

The integration expands Prisma Direct, which launched earlier this year to automate advertising transactions with media companies, into search advertising. Prisma is part of Mediaocean’s advertising technology portfolio, which also includes Innovid and Protected. Mediaocean said more than 100,000 users worldwide rely on its platforms, which support more than $200 billion in annualized advertising spending.
