Country music superstar Garth Brooks is launching a new radio channel on streaming audio platform TuneIn, the company announced on Tuesday.

The launch comes less than a year after Brooks ended an agreement with SiriusXM for “The Garth Channel,” which was hosted on the satellite radio platform for six years.

“I’m excited about the future of TuneIn and feel lucky to announce a partnership with them,” Brooks said in a statement sent to The Desk on Tuesday. “The thought of a global network of stations uniting all music fans is something I want to be a part of. The possibilities are bigger than I can dream.”

The channel is part of Brooks’ new audio network called Sevens Radio, named after his chart-topping 1997 album. The new TuneIn channel will also be called Sevens Radio, and will be available to the service’s 75 million monthly active streamers around the world when it launches later this summer.

“Garth Brooks is a tireless entrepreneur and one of the most recognizable stars in the world; when he shared his vision for Sevens Radio, we knew TuneIn should be his home,” Richard Stern, the CEO of TuneIn, said on Tuesday. “At TuneIn, we believe in the power of radio and those artists who are passionate about it. Garth and the entire Sevens team are creating something we believe fans will love, and we’re so proud to have them on TuneIn.”

The agreement with Brooks builds on an expanding slate of content deals at TuneIn, which counts Wall Street Journal parent Dow Jones, the National Football League, the Premier League, Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, Bleav, Bloomberg, NBC News, Fox News Media, iHeart Media and Sony Pictures Entertainment among its various partners.

TuneIn is available across all popular smartphones, tablets and smart TV platforms, and powers live and on-demand audio streams for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa-enabled smart speakers, among other devices.
