Apple has expanded its video distribution deal with Amazon that will see the latter sell subscriptions to Apple TV Plus via Prime Video in three countries, starting this week.

Streamers in the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia who use Amazon’s Prime Video service can now purchase a subscription to Apple TV Plus for a separate fee, with prices varying by location.

The addition of Apple TV Plus to Prime Video Channels in those countries comes about a month after the service debuted on the Amazon-owned platform in the United States last month. In addition to Apple TV Plus, Prime Video Channels also offers subscriptions to third party apps like Paramount Plus, Crunchyroll and Discovery Plus, depending on location.

“Viewers in the U.S. have been loving the ability to subscribe to Apple TV Plus on Prime Video, and we’re pleased to now launch this offering in Australia, Canada and the U.K.,” Eddy Cue, the Senior Vice President of Services at Apple, said in a statement this week.

“We’re delighted to continue to roll out Apple TV Plus on Prime Video with the launches in the U.K., Canada and Australia, bringing Prime Video customers an even greater selection of TV shows and films, all in one app experience,” said Kelly Day, the Vice President of Prime Video’s international business.

Amazon is one of the biggest drivers of growth for small and niche streaming services, according to a report from Antenna, which said the tech company was responsible for 58 percent of sales among those services during the second quarter (Q2) of the year.

The content library of Apple TV Plus is widely regarded to be one of the most-premium among competing services, but its subscriber growth has lagged behind other platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, Peacock and Paramount Plus.
