Fox News Digital finished the month of February with the most multiplatform views and minutes across its core competitive set of news brands, according to data from Comscore and other sources.

During the month, Fox News Digital had 4.1 billion total multiplatform minutes, 2 billion total multiplatform views and 121 million total digital multiplatform unique visitors, Comscore data showed. Its multiplatform minutes were up 33 percent compared to February 2024, and its multiplatform views were up 25 percent on a year-over basis. Multiplatform unique visitors were up 5 percent compared to February 2024.

Data from Emplifi showed Fox News was the most-engaged brand on social media during February, with 78 million total social interactions across platforms like Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok and Instagram. The figure was up 30 percent compared to January 2025 and 229 percent on a year-over basis. Fox News drove 1.2 billion social views across Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok combined.

CNN, meanwhile, saw declines across its platforms, with multiplatform views logged at 998 million (down 16 percent on a year-over basis), multiplatform total minutes at 1.396 billion (down 22 percent) and multiplatform unique visitors at 89.9 million (down 19 percent).

After this story was published, a CNN spokesperson said the network found the data “misleading,” because Fox News Digital “pays to add on additional social platform measurement to include reach from Facebook, Instagram & X,” while CNN does not.

In a press release last week, a Fox News Digital spokesperson affirmed that the network and a number of others — including CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the Washington Post — “have opted in to account for Social Incremental in total digital multiplatform unique visitors” through Comscore, while CNN and another outlet do not.

The opt-in means Fox News Media’s measurements include web and social data when accounting for the total digital multiplatform unique visitors, while CNN’s data does not include social reach. CNN further alleged that social measurement figures can include when a brand pays a social platform to extend the reach of their content. CNN declined to provide its own metrics.

Fox News Digital includes the websites and social platforms of the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, and is operated by Fox News Media. CNN is owned by Warner Bros Discovery.
