Google-owned streaming platform YouTube is now selling subscriptions to Comcast’s streaming service Peacock and Fox-owned Fox One, the company said on Monday.
The launch of Fox One and Peacock on the streaming marketplace YouTube Primetime Channels comes about a week before the start of the FIFA World Cup men’s soccer tournament, with games available in English from Fox Sports and in Spanish on Comcast’s Telemundo. Fox Sports games are available on Fox One, and Telemundo will simulcast games in Spanish on Peacock.
Fox One will cost $20 per month when purchased through YouTube Primetime Channels, with content accessed through the same app as YouTube’s videos, music and podcasts. The price of Fox One through YouTube matches what streamers pay when they purchase Fox One through Fox directly or via another app like Amazon’s Prime Video or The Roku Channel’s Premium Subscriptions marketplace.
When it comes to Peacock, only the most-expensive tier of the service — called Peacock Premium Plus — is available through YouTube Primetime Channels, priced at $17 per month. On-demand content streams without commercial interruptions, but sports and other live content still has advertising.
Fox One and Peacock are only available through YouTube in the United States, the company said in a note.
The FIFA World Cup men’s soccer tournament starts June 11.
