Technology developer Bango has integrated LinkedIn Premium into its Digital Vending Machine platform, allowing clients like telecommunications providers and other subscription-focused companies to offer access to the premium version of the social media website to its customers.
The integration comes several months after Bango announced a deal with LinkedIn to integrate the premium subscription into the Digital Vending Machine, which is used by clients like Verizon, Optimum and Optus to offer added-value subscriptions and bundles to their customers in order to improve satisfaction and retention.
“LinkedIn is a globally recognized platform with a unique role in connecting professionals and supporting career development. Bringing LinkedIn into the Digital Vending Machine reflects the continued momentum of our partner ecosystem and the growing demand for more flexible and accessible subscription models,” Paul Larbey, the CEO at Bango, said in a statement at the time the deal was announced. “We look forward to working together to unlock new bundling opportunities for partners and consumers as the service is brought to market.”
In a spot published by Bango this week, LinkedIn’s Business Development Manager José Luis Ramos said Bango was an “integral player” in “allowing us to connect with a variety of telecoms” at a time when companies are focused on building one experience and deploying it to many prospective customers and clients.
“For us, it’s really about who can help us get there fast enough,” Ramos said. “It’s a first-of-its-kind for LinkedIn; we are really looking forward to working with Bango to accelerate our go-to market when it comes to bundling and creating those product integrations.”
Other subscriptions offered through the Digital Vending Machine include Netflix, Disney Plus, YouTube Premium, Uber One and NordPass.
LinkedIn is owned by Microsoft.
